To embark on this journey successfully, one must leave behind their preconceived notions of what they expect to find at the end of the quest. Expecting a universal tortoise with the universe on it's back? You might not find it. Expecting a vision of an old white guy with a beard and sparkling white robes assigning celestial condos in the sky? You might be wrong. An objective look at the inner recesses of reality can be frightening. "What's in there?" you ask? "Only what you take with you" as wise old master yoda would say. So what's YOUR baggage? If an examination of things occult (hidden) bothers you then by all means, please stop here. Come back when you are ready.
Hi all, I am OsirisN33 creator of this site. So what is the purpose of this site? Well primarily I am designing it as a starting point for brave explorers interested in exploring human consciousness. I was brought up a Jehovah's Witness and spent many years gestating within the confines of their belief system. In 1993 I began to play around with the idea of time travel. From there I went on a bit of a rollercoaster ride as I began to shed their belief system and look at the world in an entirely new light. In the process of researching the information for this site, I have learned a lot about the development of human consciousness. I hope this site can be an aid to others who are seeking answers to why we all came to be on this small blue planet. I'd love to hear from others who have had similar experiences to mine.
The word mystery is derived from a Greek word meaning "to initiate". And it is my belief that God/The Universe/The All will will find its own and instruct them in the ways of the cosmos.
The symbol at the top of the page is one I created from scratch in Adobe Photoshop. It's elements are taken from various mystical/esoteric traditions and symbolizes for me the nature of the human quest. I am NOT a Freemason, an Illuminati, a Rosicruician or a member of any other type of secret society, cult, or religion. So you can put your conspiracy theories to rest. I do not consider myself an occultist although many of the topics on this site are classified as such. The word occult simply means "hidden." And like any good adventurer you have to tromp around in frightening places to get to the buried treasure. I submit that this buried treasure is found by the explorer's search within himself. You have to battle past your own personal demons to retrieve it and bring it back out. This site was designed primarily as a source of information for fellow explorers and a beacon to fellow adventurers to let them know they are not alone.
Is the "secret" of the universe imbedded within this site somewhere? No. There is no magic string of words containing the secret of the universe. I believe that what we seek is a state of mind. And like most worthwhile things it is not something we just easily acquire... we are tested and tried as we grow into it. It was stated in the quote above by Joseph Campbell in his own way. And here is another take on it:

Come on in and follow the trail as we go on a tour of uncharted lands on our quest for the secret place of the soul(which incidently I am still moving towards... I haven't quite found it yet). You see, I believe that the primary challenge in life is for each person to get to the point where they can believe that life is for living. Sure we all have problems but we have to try our best to tackle them and go on Living. The hero's job is to wake up and live. If you live a million times, arrive at the gates of a thousand heavens or ten thousand paradises and each time you abandon the adventure out of fear, hesitation, and uncertainty... that may as well be hell. Life stinks some times but don't let it get you down. Never give up. Male or female, black, yellow, red or white; you're worthy... pull the sword from the stone.
